I am 29, live in Moscow, Russia and my hobby is studying foreign languages. My grandfather knew 5 languages and my aim is to speak 5 languages too (besides my native Russian). Right now I speak English and Japanese quite well and study Finnish and Chinese. As you see I love studying completely different languages (and no Japanese and Chinese aren’t similar). I see how people blog about their hobbies so I thought I would write a blog about mine too. Here I am going to share my tricks I use to study. Besides that I am sick of the “methods” of learning languages that some entrepreneurs offer as very effective ones. I don’t believe one can learn a language without efforts. . I believe if one studies everyday with inspiration, they can start speaking more or less properly within at least a year. This is what took for me to study Japanese and pass the 3d level of Nouryoku Shiken.
Besides that I like creating animation. But it takes a lot of time so I don't draw much. Right now I have only a couple of cartoon which you can watch here
