Trip to Estonia

Last weekend I had a trip to Estonia. Russian TV presents Estonia as a completely unfriendly country that supports or sympathises faschism and hates Russians. So I went there with a feeling I am going to an enemy although I am adult enough to realize that TV may present things not the way they are. So I hoped even if Estonians hate Russians they are bothered with their own problems more than with us.

Nobody beat me there. Besides, hotel and store workers in Tallinn do speak Russian at least a little, but I talked to them in English because their Russian may be not so fluent. Anyway, here is my shoprt report. Enjoy!

Savva-Storozhevsky Monastery in Zvenigorod and the New Jerusalem (Voskresensky) Monastery

A while ago I decided to go to see New Jerusalem monastery. I went to a travel agency and picked up a trip that included also a monastery in Zvenigorod. Well, I thought since they included it, there is something to look at and got the trip. That was a nice one-day trip which is good because I didn’t have to worry about my cat. Here are the pictures and videos of these two places with my comments. Enjoy!

Zvenigorod was the first place to go and on the way there we visited a church. Right now I don’t remember the name of it but here’s the video from the inside. Very beautiful.
